Private visit by collector Joachim von Beust and curator Valentine Himpens
Breakfast and guided tour of the exhibition “Fragile Tomorrow” by artists Dimitri Autin and Melissa Medan by collector Joachim von Beust and curator Valentine Himpens. EN
The exhibition is a dialogue between Dimitri Autin and Mélissa Médan, recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Art of Brussels. Through drawing, sculpture and video, it invites us to reflect on the durability of our lifestyles, our desire to expand and our ceaseless quest for new territories.
Using
the delicacy of paper, the artists imagine a world where machines take on
animal forms, evoking both mystery and absurdity. Their exploration of space,
omnipresent in their works, highlights the fragility of our contemporary
lifestyles, inviting the viewer to introspect on our complex relationship with
technology and our environment.
