Private Visit of The Panamarenko House

Enjoy a guided tour of the Panamarenko House, offering a unique glimpse into the world of the Antwerp artist (1940–2019).

More than an artist, Panamarenko was an inventor, technician, mathematician, philosopher, and visionary. He created zeppelins, flying backpacks, pedal-powered helicopters, submarines, spaceships, and walking chickens, becoming an icon of post-war avant-garde art with internationally acclaimed work. Less known is that most of his oeuvre was created at Biekorfstraat 2, where he lived and worked from 1970. During this exclusive tour of his house and studio, you can experience his creative process and imagination firsthand.

In 2007, Panamarenko donated his house and studio in the Seefhoek neighbourhood to M HKA, along with all its household goods. Fully restored and authentically refurbished, the building even features a helipad on its roof.

Panamarenko is represented by KETELEER GALLERY.

2025 is a special year, as it would have marked the 85th birthday of the artist, who passed away in 2019.

Tour In English.

Unfortunately, the venue is not wheelchair accessible and not suitable for visitors with reduced mobility.
