Theatre Piece Guillaume Bijl (copy)

Join The Early Years of the Earldom of Watou, the only theatre piece in Guillaume Bijl’s oeuvre and an integral part of his installation at Kunsthal Extra City.

For this revival, amateur actors from Antwerp perform under the direction of Vanessa Van Goethem, with dramaturgy by Aline Bouvy and music by Hantrax. Pieter and Tinus Vermeersch created the sets, while Jelle Spruyt designed the costumes and textiles.

As at the original performance in Watou in 2002, table beer, bread and fruit will be served in the banquet hall during the performance. Afterwards, you are invited to explore the installation further.

The performance lasts approximately 20 minutes.
